That has to be THE XJ13 David? How much of the original is left from when it was totally rebuilt after the wreck?

Obviously the wheels aren't original

Want one...:veryangry:

Keith - it looked brand spanking Nuovo. But who am I to know. Drop dead gorgeous and sounded so crisp. So many admirers and so many experts in the crowd. (like "This was the Lagonda....." and " it has two v6 engines" ) So many really nice people though and everyone is such a really good frame of mind - totally unlike the Silverstone crowds. Many overseas visitors as well - the radio said it attracted 1/4 million people on the Friday which broke all records for practise day. It seemed like it as well with over 1 hour to exit the car parks but again every one was being courteous and yielding places in the queue. Such a nice event. I digress but it doesn't matter.....

Love Tony Vandervells Thinwall Special - Ferrariesque but British through and through!

When I got Brian Redman's autograph (David's first pic) I asked him to sign a picture of his car at Sebring in 1970 which showed the other JW 917 behind - he was very happy to point out that he actually drove both cars in that race and therefore was classified both first and second and that that has not often happened in any international motor race

The XJ13 had an explanation of what it was on the windscreen which started by saying:

' There is only one XJ13 in the world - and you are looking at it! '

Beautiful car!

A few more pictures from last weekend!
