DRB #67 Sprint Event Videos

Just posted on youtube a couple of videos of DRB #67 at the WA Sprint Championship that was held on Sunday just gone.

Was the first time I've been able to start to push the car reasonably hard. Went well enough, but a long way to go. Had a top end misfire at around 6500 RPM and needs a fair bit of chassis development. Driver is very rusty too. Over 3 years of no competing dosen't help either!

It is already less than 1/2 second off the pace of my old RX-7 (one of the quickest 2WD cars) that was racing also on the day, so that's encouraging considering there is at least 1-2 seconds in the car 'as is' once I get used to driving again. Then it's a matter of finding another 2 seconds in car development to get to the front of the pack. Sounds easy if you say it quick... Anyways, the just fitted accusump worked well. Oil pressure drops in corners and stabilises at 2 Bar as the accusump picks up the slack. So, a very encouraging day all up. And it was fun too!

I was there watching and I'de say the DRB GT40 was the car of the day.
Every time we opened the rear hatch people gathered. The sound was awesome and the flame out the exhaust bewteen gears had people pointing.
