I received my new fuel tanks from Mick Sollis at Southern GT a couple of weeks ago, on time and fantastically built.
To pass the IVA legislation over this side of the pond, the fuel tanks cannot form a part of the chassis, so I had to have some made up. After giving the dimensions to Mick, he then crafted them for me. Great attention to detail in terms of how to mount them in the sponsons, additional baffling around the fuel pick up point to negate staervation, the allowance of being able to connect the two tanks, all the while in contact with me as to how I wanted the placement of connections etc...
Sounds like an advert for Southern GT... except he made them for my RCR so full marks to Mick!
