Hi chaps,
I'm intending to replace my float senders with diptubes in my Tornado GT40 but need to know;
1) the depth of the tank from top to bottom
2) the width of the flat bottom section of the tank
3) the distance of the C/L of the mounting hole to the vertical side of the tank.
The diptube mustn't foul on the angled side or touch the bottom of the tank.
I'm assuming Tornado haven't changed their tank design for a few years.
I can't move the mounting hole and will have to fabricate an adapter plate to reduce the 6hole PCD to a smaller 5hole PCD and the gauges need changing but apart from that its a relatively simple conversion.
I'm living 1700miles away from the car at present so can't measure it myself, with the correct dimensions I can order the appropriate length diptubes from my supplier.
Can anyone help with a dimensioned cross section?
