GREAT GT40 sound!!

Does anyone know, is that a 289?
One thing I did not expect when I finally got my 40 was the sound! I knew it would be beautiful and I knew it would be fast, I also know it would attract attention. But I did not expect the wonderful sound.
Very often the first thing people say to me (after what is it?) is what a wonderful sound!
I now pay much more attention to how cars sound, and I think the smaller motors, the 289 and 302s' seem to have a higher pitch and a little bit of a howl?
Has anyone else noticed this?
