Temperature Sensor

Found a 3/8" NPT for temp sensor// 3/4" barb for heater hose // 1/2" NPT to screw into manifold TEE fitting. Was looking pretty good until I screwed water temperature sensor that came with car into 3/8" NPT. Threads fit fine...but temp probe dropped right thru middle of tee.

Am I missing a part? Or, is this an easy fix and I'm over thinking the problem.

The adapter you need has a shoulder down inside made for temp gauges. You need to find a speed/auto shop that can sell just the part you need. Also try Jegs
