Last week I was on holiday, touring around Wales.
On the way back to visit Frank Catt (Wealden Engineering) I passed Goodwood and decided to pay it a visit.
It happened that some cars were already doing some testing laps for the Goodwood Revival, including P1025!!

I'm realitively new to GT40s but I'm amazed at the subtle variations in all these cars. I guess that is part of the magic in that no two are alike be it original or replica. Looking at this car versus 1043 vs the cars on the racing icons site there are all sorts of variations on the theme.

That is lovely. Would it like to take part in our garage exchange program and come and sit in a lovely warm garage in Oz? No, didn't think so.

This car resides local to me in Essex....just happenes Mr Lynn's wife has the same registration on her black Range Rover
