The Bailey LMP2 is a few days away from hitting the track or the first time. This ground breaking south african project has taken 2 years and 3 months from concept to race track which has included the design and development of the first ever Carbon Tub built in RSA to FIA saftey regulations and to the 2011 ACO Le Mans regulations.

It does say that all over the computer generated version but there is not a single mention of it on the actual car.

its a ford mustang based engine
5 litre, 500bhp, built to the current LMP 2 regulations
the infinity stickers on the CAD model were when we were trying to get infinity backing, but didn't happen
the car is completely our own, never heard of the pikes peak car you are talkng about, can you send me pics of that please?

Hi. Thanks for the confirmation of power plant. It's difficult to compare the cars as the Pike's Peak car is moving very very quickly in the Youtube clip and is powered by a Hyundai motor producing something like 800hp.

I can see now that there are major differences, but overall similar in appearance probably due to coincidenal design parameters such as: going as fast as possible!

You have a great car there Greg, look forward to seeing it race in Europe..

Assuming the powerplant similar to the winning DP cars?
