Carlisle show

I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at the Carlisle Pa. show with Scott Calabro helping him with the Tornado display. Scott broke his ankle a few months back and is still not fully repaired and as my Tornado is deep in body work I offered to help Scott. We took his Tornado down and had all in place for the weekend show.
Friday and Saturday were O.K. but it was clear not many had money to spend. There were many nice displays from some good manufactures, E.R.A had several Cobras and a MK1 with a Gulf rear clip, very nice car. Superformance was showing a Cobra and a black MKII, nice. So we had only 3 GT's at the show,a Tornado, a E.R.A. and a Superformance.
R.C.R. was at the show with their new cars but no GT. Cobras and Porsches were there in force with some great kits.
Anyway here are the GT40's. I've more photos of other stuff if anyone would like to see, please let me know and I'll post them. Bill

Bill,

It was good to meet you. I like putting a face with the name form the board here!

Yep,

Short on GT40s this year, but quality made up for the quantity! It was good to talk to Scott and you, Peter P. from ERA was fun as always (we share some mutual "friends")

Nice steam cars stories!

Rick
