A friend of a friend has a March 817C, last week at a race he had a gear break and wedge itself between the shaft and the case. The case split and is beyond repair. The transaxle is a Hewland DG300 model DGA201, it's mated up to a SB Chevy. If anyone knows where a transaxle can be found, it would be greatly appeciated. Thanks, Al

Al, have him contact Lee or Paul Williams at Williams Racing Deveolpments in Mooresville, NC (704) 658-0940. They have about the best prices and contacts in the UK for vintage Hewland boxes and parts. They're good guys and may also have a line on a used DG or LG box in the US.
Hewlands come up for sale from time to time on race-cars.com. I'm sure he knows what ever he does, it won't be cheap.
