Nick,

Nice pictures. Shame I was unable to make the show.

Did you take any of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club stand?

Cheers,

Max

Thanks Nick. Great stuff. You gotta love that Lambretta Scooter....takes me right back mate.

Thanks for the comments, Lambrettas are not really my cup of tea but as you rightly say you gotta love that Lambretta.

Nice pictures Nick glad you got one of my car! I created a time lapse video of the dream rides area with my new Gopro Dream Rides NEC 2011 - YouTube hope you like it

No problem I like taking pictures of beautiful cars, I did like it :)

Did you take any of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club stand?

Cheers,

Max

Max,

I piggybacked my pictures onto the back of mikes on the link below. I think he will forgive me as long as I promise never to post anything on certain area of the paddock again, he is very sensible man.

Also took some of the TWR XJ13 which I have been informed uses an RCR chassis, if you are interested

A few more pics of the more unusual suspects - especially some of the ones for the bike guys on here. Hope you like them - I did!
Cheers
Mike

The Stiletto (aka Hillman Imp) is a very special car. It was built by Charles Barter using a fibreglass Imp body over a Davrian floorpan. We used to compete against it in our spaceframe Stiletto in hillclimbs and sprints when Bobby Fryers had it later. It ran a very special Ian Carter 1,200 cc engine and it weighed about 700lbs. Needless to say, we never beat the damn thing. We were both forced to give up the cars when the classes were changed and we were moved into Sports Libre and were up against carbon cars with tuned Hyabusa motors which were 100 -200lbs lighter and twice the power - no contest.
Cheers

Mike,

That seems a real shame.
