There's a fellow in So-Cal who used to race a Pantera (or at least work on it? Or he bought parts from the team after they stopped racing it? I can't remember); he has a PILE of spares, including five (!) ZF gearboxes. Today he wrote to me:

I don't know if any of his gearboxes are ready to go, or if they would just need to be flipped for GT40 orientation, or if they need to be completely gone through? You'll just have to ask him....
