Chassis P1101

Ok, so P1101 was one of the 7 original MkIII cars, and later converted to MkI spec.

Does anyone have any further details or pics of this car? I know it was being offered for sale a few years ago through a specialist in the UK.

From the one pic I saw (pale blue with white stripes) it looked to me that the rear was MkI, but strangely, the front clip looked like it had the taller guards of the MkII?

Lots of threads over the years referring to this car after its conversion in 2006

Try a 'search' on 1101

No, it was 1965 Mk 1 spec all the way. Here's a photo that I took of it parked alongside P/1080 in November 2006, at Maxted-Page.

Hi Troy,

I saw this car a few days ago. It is currently stripped down for maintenance and is sitting on a ramp.
The sill (rocker panel) covers, doors & front and rear body panels are off. The engine & box are out.
