I was at the Carmel Concours last week and there were two original GT40s there.

P/1083 - The guy showing this car said it was one of three wide-hip Mirage GT40s and was a sister car to P/1074 that was sold by RM Auctions. But I haven't been able to check my SAAC Registry yet to confirm this info.

Nonetheless the car looked fab!!

I thought only P1074 and P1075 were converted Mirage M1?(M10002 and M10003) The other Mirage (M10001)was never converted!! P1084/1004 was converted into Gulf specs in 1968 and was the sister car to the Gulf cars. P1076 was a newly built Gulf Spec car built at the time. True P1083 being built in 1969 would have the wider rear clip and had a lightweight roof but other than those items it is not a sister car to the 'Mirages' or the 'Gulfs'. The first " Gulf " style rear clip was developed on P1020 in 1967.
However, P1034 has more connection as it was traded for Mirage M1 M10001 in 1974. In Ronnie's book it says it original colour was Pine Green.
