SLC wheel choices

Just wondering what the different styles of the "cheap" wheels are from RCR? I have been looking at used sets of Z06 wheels to try to save money as I like the styles you can get and they can be had pretty cheap.

You wont save much as the wheels included with the kit are part of the package price...

Fran, what are the (standard included type) wheel sizes for the SLC at present.

Recommended tires sizes for above.

Any optional wider set, and what would wheel size and recommended tire size for them be if any?

Here's a pic of the cf5's in matte black on an SLC. So far...I think I'm the only guy on the forum with the Forgestars. The funny thing is, I was looking at Forgestar's before I even knew they were offered!

I have to give credit to Fran. He made a great choice with these wheels... :thumbsup:

I think it's 18X9 and 19X12.

Tires are...
275/35-18 front
325/30-19 rear

Those fit the car perfect.

street wheels sizes:

Front: 18 x 9.5” (standard kit)
Rear: 19 x 12” (standard kit)

street tire sizes:

Front: 275/35ZR18
Rear: 325/30ZR19

It's a shame you don't do the CCWs anymore; those rims fit the car to a T.

We still do but they are an extra cost upgrade option...

The Forgestars are now the standard wheel in the deluxe plus kit...

Thanks for the pictures Yos, those look amazing on the SLC. The F14 look real good to. I like a nice simple wheel and Forgestar make wheels that fit that bill. Since I am looking to emulate the F1 LM I plan on getting the F5 in a copper color if possible. On the website custom colors are available. How much would it add to the cost if available? It takes Forgestar quite long time to deliver their standard wheels... we can actually build a complete kit in less time than they can deliver a set of wheels....so cross your finger, legs, toes, ears , eyes and hope the wind is blowing in the right direction when we place the order and maybe they will be able to have them to us in time....

So I would recommend that we order them in their raw/non painted format and you can do them yourself in the exact colour you want....that way we are guaranteed to have them in time.

Where can I get a 18 inch diameter wheel that is 11 to 12 inches wide that will fit the rear of a SLC?

Howard...there are many suppliers but it all depends on your budget..and timelines
