Indie film with GT40?

There's a local indie film producer in Seattle here who asked me if he could use my CAV for a promo clip to try to attract interest in a film he wants to produce. I said sure and he and his team came out and spent a couple hours filming the CAV in my driveway. His promo clip for it is here: Jacked: Based on a True Story on Vimeo

I don't really understand how the whole film industry works, including how indie type films get funded and made, but you never know, the guy might just get the funding and talent together to make something happen. I'm happy to lend my car out for the project so long as there's appropriate insurance in place and no idiotic driving involved.....

I've always wondered who volunteered their car for this Sheryl Crow vid clip: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlywcuw-1TU]Sheryl Crow - Steve McQueen - YouTube[/ame] Looks exactly like my car, right down to the somewhat unique Camaro mirrors.

Nice one Cliff.

You know, it got me thinking. Cheryl uses a vocal 'riff' in the chorus.
For almost twenty minutes i couldn't recall where she plagiarised it from..

Then the penny dropped. But as you Americans say 'darn', one thing let to another and this video also features a sweet 60's period iconic car.
Well i'll be darned, is that karma or what ??

Hoo Hoo Hoo !

Cliff,
The car was owned by Wayne Presley over on the ffcobra site if I remember correctly. He noted she was smokin hot without any makeup!! :O) Nice clip for the movie story-line next to your car. Kudos, Scott

P.S. I have those "somewhat unique" camaro mirrors on my car too!
