CAV Steering Wheel

For those that are like me somewhat unhappy with their CAV steering wheel... I designed and had machined a new 6 bolt boss and printed a new center cap on one of our UV printers. Much better, no?

Very nice. Is this going to be a one off? more available down the road? richard

Richard, I may make some more down the road if there is any interest from the group. I am also working on canards and an adjustable rear spoiler.

If thats the same bolt pattern as a Mountney we have them in stock.

Nice Dave. Look forward to your canards and gurney flap development for CAV.

I will post pics when I have them done. Still in the middle of winter up here in NH, not much motivation! Should have them done and on the car before spring.

Andy is right.... the wheel that came in my car is a Mountney. I didn't care at all for the polished spokes on the wheel and the large center with the small CAV logo. My "home made" center is nearly identicle to the Tornado. The larger emblem in the cap looks much more proportionate than the OEM CAV center. I then scotchbrighted the spokes and refinished with etch primer and satin black.

How much Andy? I have a Mountney and was thinking of getting a friend to turn one up, but this may be easier
