Mike,
A lot of people don't kow the story behind the fastback Mustang that you showed in your pics. That car is the cover photo on Hot Rod magazine this month. It is called the Mach 40. It is a sliced up 69 Mustang in the image of the GT40. I only stumbled upon it when I got a copy to keep me entertained on the beach while at the RUI Palace Bravo in the Dominican Republic(where i am now). It started out as a 69 Mach I. It now is a mid engined monster that took about 3 years to complete. They used parts from a Ford GT(wrecked). It is shortened, lowered, widened and modified with the front nostrils, side air vents and mid engined in the image of the GT40. It uses the5.4L blown Ford GT engine, C6 suspension and a Ricardo 6 speed transaxel modified to acxept the GT axels. It is an unbelieable build. It is covered very well in the mag as to how they accomplished this.
