How not to treat a Brough Superior

It was my son's wedding last Friday they had it at a farm venue in the near Macclesfield and 30 of us stayed at a large house high up on a hill near Buxton.

The idea was for me to drive the Brough with the bride to the venue, unfortunately it snowed rather a lot Thursday night, and even though I was sure the Brough would make it through the drifts, the woman said no and we all had to go in a land rover.

We got snowed in for the night at the venue and ended up sleeping on the floor with the youngsters. Got back to the house with just the bride and groom to check on the Brough the next day (Saturday) and the car and house looked like something from the film the day after tomorrow

Meanwhile my new daughter in law unbenown to me had put on facebook that we were back at the house and a party was on and all the "youngsters" made there way back again from their homes 30 miles away whilst it started snowing heavily again. I got blamed for encouraging them and took severe flack!!!!!

On Sunday the youngsters decided they could get the cars still at the house down the 1/2 mile drift covered track to the B road I thought no chance but they proved me wrong.

On Monday I managed to get the Brough going put another 3 litres of water in to add to the 3 litres I had to put in 2 days earlier still no idea where it all went, and got her home safely.

It's shown me the awesomeness of a Brough car and a determined set of young people.
