SLC dash.

I haven't seen a thread about what has been done to install the triangular pieces of the dashboard that are cut off to install the dash past the roll bar. Anyone?

Al - If you have the interior trim package the A-pillar covers fit in that triangular area. If you don't have the interior trim package then I would trim the pieces that were cut out so they fit around the roll bar. I was going to come up with a clip to hold it in place. I wanted to be able to remove the trim piece and be able to remove the dash if needed. However, I never got that far with my build. Not sure if this is what you were asking?

You leave it off (at least I did with mine to make dash removal easy peasy). Why - iz race car, needz weight savings.

Rivet an extension tab onto the main dash just off the cut edge and put a floating nutplate on the backside of the tab. The cutout piece can bolt/screw to that and would be flush without even trying.
