Mk 1 Blues

Hello All,

I love blueprints. Drawing them myself or just staring at, what others have done, for hours.

Do any of you know where I can find a copy of GT40 blueprints on line?

Thanks,

Doug

as regards this reply before I edited it, I should know better to confirm allegations myself before repeating them, my apologies

doug , good luck finding plans, builders will part with everything but that. If mine ever get done, they will be for sale for a reasonable price, because I'm just in it for the experience. I'm building a semi monocoque tube frame from scratch, and the plans are already drawn in autocad. But changes are being made as I build and I don't want to sell something that's not finished.

It appears my pictures don't come up on the board. If anyone would like JPEG's sent to them just email me directly. Alternatively try the following links that poul Stroberg has very kindly set up for me on a temporary basis. http://www.sunnerbo.com/poul/gt40a/4.jpg http://www.sunnerbo.com/poul/gt40a/uprights.jpg http://www.sunnerbo.com/poul/gt40a/chassis.jpg

Dave Brown certainly does exist. Some people had trouble getting hold of him over Christmas - he was on holiday - but is back on the job now. He is currently building three monocoques (see pictures posted by me or Chris Melia), one for me, one each for an American and an Australian client. I'm off next week to see how my chassis is progressing and hope to take some pictures which I will try to post. P.S. Both Dave and I have garages...

Wow! Those are very impressive chassis.
I'd love to see the plans for the chasis as well but, I was mostly interested in the exterior. For some reason, I thought there may be a set of plans for the original GT40 used by Ford and Lola to make car, available on the net. They wouldn't even have to all the info.

I'm goin to try to get in touch with Mr. Brown. Maybe, he can help.

Thanks,

Doug
