Chris

The car with the black side stripe is obviously a MK 1 with MK II rear bodywork.

The car with the white stripe appears
to be an MK 1 with Wyer rear flairs, but
the front end has really high wheel arches,
like an MK II. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Mike, look close. The one with the white Ford side stipes is a model and, like you observe, not a very accurate one: check out the size of the side windows.

I Like the black chassis panels and silver rivets.
Is it me or does this have an S&M look to it?

Re: Jan Erik\'s GT40 MK11

Does anyone know how the black finish on the ally panels is acheived? powdercoat or paint?? possibly anodised?

Re: Jan Erik\'s GT40 MK11

Hi Julian

unless Jan Erik owns a powder coating plant I think it's two pack paint on an etch primer. Must have took for ever to pre cut and drill, paint and then rivet.

Just wanted to let you know that your posts are greatly appreciated. Keep posting those pictures that most of us would otherwise not get to view. In my case it provides more fuel for my dream.

Thanks

The Swedish text at his website says..
All Aluminium is black anodized at both side.
