Hersh,

Your car looks great! I'll bet you are getting pretty excited since you are getting so close to the finish line.
What is your intended color scheme?
Keep up the good work and you'll be driving
it in no time.

Thanks guys,
Bill, my colors are titinium with black.
Stripes are similar to a cobra. I haven't
made up my mind yet to whether I want the
stipes to continue into a smiley.

Robert, the tires are really not that big.
the rears are 275-50-16 and the fronts
are 245-50-16
Luis, I don't have the Weyer flares. It's
probably the camera making it look that
way.
Wayne, I can't believe how fast the time
flies. I'm really working hard to have this
car ready for the trip. I'm looking forward
to seeing you and all the other guys at
the Fling. I hope you bring that beautiful
GT of yours there. You are welcome to caravan
with us Arizona guys. We leave Tuesday
morning the 18th of June. We should be in
Winslow, Az on I-40 around 10:30AM.

Hersh,
Those tires do look good! I am curious about
my options, as I also have 16" rims.
What brand are they, and what width rims did you use F & R? 8,10,12?......
What's left to do after you paint? Turn the
key, I hope!

Hershal,

You have really brought it on as they say. I'm impressed. Looking really good.

Congrats. See you at DVSFII.

Bill,
The tires are Yokahama's AO32's.
The rims are 8" in front and 10" in the rear
for the width.
I made a boo boo on the tire sizes.

I inadvertantly put down my cobras wheel size.
I just double checked the GT and they are
front- 205-16-50 and the rear are
255-16-55. The wheel widths are correct.

Julian,
That thing is a piece a ckae to build. It only took about 4 hours and $89.00 to
make. The hardest part is making the
brackets that bolt to the frame . You
have to make sure the wieght is equally
balanced so that it will rotate easily. The
engine stands must be 1000 lb capacity
types. They were on sale at Harbor frieght
for $39.00 each.

Hershal,

Congratulations !!!!!!

The photographs look great and well done .

I hope to get over to the US soon and view the car for myself.

Take care, Happy Easter,

Robert

GT40 Mark II,

The rotisserie is a real life saver when
working on the frame putting on all the
panels. It saves your back and makes the
work go much faster. If anyone is
starting their project it is worth the
effort to build it. You can't beat the
price either.
