Dear Members,
I've had a few tech support questions on Private Mailboxes on the forum. To address the questions openly for benefit of all:
*Your PM box can only hold 200 messages. A few members had full boxes and once that happens you can receive no more. And, it sometimes messes up your login and "crashes" your ID - so please keep room in your mailbox.
*I can't read your PMs (and neither can anyone else), unless I log in as you, which I've only had to do once or twice in board history to fix a problem. I can see how many you have or get, but that is it. Your PMs are secure but PMs cannot be emailed - you can only send PMs to other board members so putting
fred@aol.com into the To box won't work.
*If you want to keep copies of your sent PMs make sure you check the box on the page where you create the PM to make that happen.
