Posts Not Completing

As you may have noticed, there are quite a few double posts today. For some reason, the post process is not completing properly. If after a post, you are not returned to the thread you are creating or replying to, do not press submit again. If you want to be safe and not have to retype everything, cut and paste your entry into notepad or some other editor and then go back to the thread by selecting it from the navigation tree under the main menu or by using your browser's back button.

More than likely, you'll find that your save did work; however the forum main page may not have updated. I am not sure if there is anything that you can do about the update at this point.

The post below updated at the "forum announcements, ......" level, but not at the GT40s.com level. On a new thread, I think posting a reply will achieve the update at the forum level. We'll see............

Hi Lynn,

I'm far away and remote now, with a fairly ratty internet connection. I doubt anything can be done to help out until I return. I'll try and restart the HTTP services on the server and see if that helps. I'll also contact a contract programmer I know and see if it might be a VBSEO problem or VB problem.
