I have made the links pages much easier to navigate through (and look a little better, IMHO.)

I've fixed the one or two screens where you could see the next page on the bottom of the screen on the Useful Links page.

I've also added quite a number of links. You should notice a few more alpha groups on the Parts & Accessories page.

If you do NOT see the Race-Cars.Com Currency convertor on the main links page, click the reload button on your browser. (This should only happen if you have previously loaded the older page and it is still in your cache.)

The new links page is now loaded onto the server!

I have tried them with several browsers and they are much easier to use and navigate through. Depending on your browser and how you have the toolbars configured and if the window you are viewing in is at full screen or not, some of you may still see a line or two of the next page at the bottom of the screen. Given the tools that I am using to build the links pages with, we will just have to live with this minor aesthetic annoyance for now.

When you click on a link to another website, use your browser's back button to return to the GT40s.com Links (in most cases.) You will be returned to the place you were in the links (or so it says here in fine print :-)

I have made a real effort to make sure all of the links are good, but if you happen to find a broken link or anything else untoward, email me and I will endeavor to fix it. If you have links that you would like added, you may also email me and I'll get them included. General comments will also be accepted and considered.

That was a lot of work. Thank you. This internet makes my head spin some times. Having all those links in one spot is priceless.

Regular friday update - just added a couple of links and added "last updated" date stamp just underneath the navigation buttons on the bottom of the index page-

I'm thinking about adding a searches section for next fridays update

How about putting it at the top of the page, so it's the first thing people see?

That will come with the site redesign. There will be an improved menu bar with more links to important stuff. Coming in about a week or so.

Lynn, here's an update for your link to California Motorsports: California Motorsports

I think only Bobby's email address is currently shown in your Useful Links, which is probably a carryover from when I sent the initial Links page to Ron, as I didn't have a URL for Bobby at the time.

Oddly, his last name is misspelled on this webpage, which makes me wonder if this is not just a "reference" webpage donated by IHP Motorsports, rather than Bobby's own page. Nevertheless, it shows off his shop and his fine work very well.

Thanks for the URL! I had called and talked at length with Bobby quite some time ago. He didn't have a website and a couple of googles over time didn't find one either. So, this must be fairly new.

We'll get a "Links" link out in the open probably later this week when the software gets upgraded.
