High Ron, I accidently did a double post and tried the edit function to try and delete it. but it would only allow changes. Is there another way?

Hi Pete,

There used to be a way, but not any more. After that deal we had about 1.5 years ago where people were abusing the editing function and changing what they wrote in arguments, the system was changed. You can edit posts for about one hour after you write them, but after that time period it is locked. You cannot delete posts that you make, even double posts. I can remove one of them though. Hope this helps.

Hi Pete -

It's easily done, but if you then edit the second one (but leave the content intact) and give a reason of 'double entry mistake' then when us Admins spot it - we can delete accordingly. Basically to keep it tidy.

I come across them from time to time, and providing the error is obvious and the content intact, I usually delete the second as 'housekeeping'...
