Are signature pics disabled?

In the user CP, I have tried a few times to upload a pic within the requirements show (<500 x 100 pixels or <19.5k) and I get either unable to save file or invalid file errors. Just curious, is this something which has been disabled or am I screwing something up?

I have tried both uploading it to the site as well as hosting it on another server and linking it. Not sure where I might be going wrong...

Yes, sorry, signature pictures are disabled.

Sort of a personal thing I suppose but I'm just against them in general because a few sites I like to visit are in my opinion really degraded with avatars, sig pics, long signatures, and so on.

In hindsight I see your point and agree with it too, just didn't think about it that way 'til now.

FYI (and please understand this is NOT a complaint), there is a box at the bottom of the "Edit Signature" page which says "Can Upload Images for Signature Yes" which is why I kept at it. If any admin stumbles onto some extra bandwidth and absolutely nothing else to do, maybe they could flip that to "no".

My world will still turn if that doesn't happen though.
