Logging In

I've noticed when I log in it takes two or three attempts before my name appears in the "Wellcome" block in the upper right. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

You might want to flush your cache and dump all your cookies and do a reboot..
I've not heard of any other issues logging in..

Bummer!! I'm still having problems logging in. I am, of course, now logged in as I'm writing this reply. However I've tried to respond to Paddock's thread on gun rights but informed me that I'm not logged in(?). Any help?

Something is corrupting your cache / cookies.. When you log in you get a cookie sent to your machine with your log on credentials. That is apparently being screwed up somehow.

The only thing I can suggest is what you did before, then a thorough scan of your disk drive.

I have the same issue with my home computer but I blame it on Dial up AOL
Unlike using the work computer that has no issues with this site.
I to will need to try Randy's recomendation for the home computer as cookies do build up quickly.

The allowing of the cookies for this site have seemingly solved the my problem!!! For all that need it I went to the internet "tools", then "security", and followed the instructions to allow specific web sites to load cookies.
