Rollcage Offset

So, I've FINALLY got started on my build, poor thing has been sitting in a storage unit for over a year.

I was about to drill the holes to set the mounting points to the rollcage and noticed that it is off center to the driver's side a half an inch. I got this measurement by measuring the mounts from both the passenger and driver side to the chassis. (5.5" from outside of driver's side of chassis and the other is 6" from the passenger side of the chassis)

The issue is however that the rollcage is bolted to the rear upper firewall (or whatever you want to call it) and the rear upper firewall is riveted to the chassis, leaving no place to adjust it, I was just wondering if this was normal?

If my question is unclear I'll take some pictures tomorrow.

After additional searches (used google instead), I found this,,

I'm guessing I should wait a bit before drilling the holes for the cage, though not sure it will adjust any because the rear bulkhead is bolted to the cage and the body.

Don't hard mount the rollcage until you have aligned the suspension and then the body fitment ...only then truly hard mount the rollcage
