Fuel Level Sending Unit

My fuel level sending unit is about an inch too tall? It sticks out of the top of the tank about an inch too high. Do I have the right sending unit? Is there something I'm not seeing? I'll attached pictures later today

If you have an early sending unit, it can be trimmed...and then calibrated

If you have the KOSO dash we now have them that are already set up ....

I have an extra Koso sending unit. I had to get a different one made by Centroid to be compatible with my ECU's analog inputs.

Google the senders manufacture. My unit is meant to be cut to length and then calibrated. The vendors documents will tell you how.
