I am in the process of completing the brake system and watched Allan's video on the residual brake valve and have taken both brass fitting out of the 2lb valve. The problem I see is with the smaller stainless steel fitting supplied as seen from Allan's video that replaces the brass fitting feels like the wrong thread. Has anyone had this problem?

I noticed the same thing and ran a 1/8" pipe tap in both ends to clean up the threads. The fittings fit in farther now and feel more secure.
