LS3 Cold Air Induction

I have the LS3 in my build and am ready to design/build my cold air induction.

What creative solutions did you LS3 builders come up with?
Mind sharing the parts you used?

Thanks

From my experience, the most important part is the placement of the MAF sensor. Must be in the middle of a straight section of 4" pipe....preferably the longest section of pipe in the intake system.

if street tail either run SD tune and hang a failter off the TB or run a pipe straight back and use the MAF

if race tail you can run a 4'' pipe to the side air vents . It's a tight fit but doable, but does require re-locating the chassis cross-brace (no way around it). On the dyno I did 2 passes - one with intake take in that position by the headers, the other well away from the headres, and it made no difference, so heat soak is not a concern.

Mike

I have this thing about water, so I have to ask. How are you keeping water out of the filter/intake?

I think I'm going to design a system similar to your approach.
