I was finally able to get out to see my car at Dennis' shop yesterday. A couple of you had asked how my color scheme worked out so I took a few quick photos out on Dennis' driveway. I posted them on our page:

Congratulations - that SPF is stunning! You're right about the shape and the Titanium paint. The color is classic and it will be a great car for the road.

That Dino is great too. You really scored with the increase in its value over the last two years. Three years ago I almost bought a nice
365 GTB/4. Had I done so, the value would now be more than twice what I would have paid. Oh well, such is life in the car world. Enjoy your GT40 and thanks for the pictures.

I understand my carwas just fired up for the first time there just a couple of days ago - you probably got to see it as well...I can't bear the wait any longer! Mine is indigo blue with grey stripes. Please tell me you saw it!

Not only did I see it...I touched it. I oggled it. I just missed the first engine start by a few minutes and Dennis's guys were still grinning!! They wanted to start it again for me...but I told 'em to stay busy getting her buttoned up. It's a thing of beauty. PM me an address and I'll send you some pix.
