News article on the Superformance "Ferrari Killer"

This is written by their resident car expert.

...which explains why I don't rely on Bloomberg news for any advice on automobiles!

The piece was favorable, at least....but based on his profound lack of understanding of these cars, I give this writer zero credibility for having any knowledge whatsoever.

"Air inlet" in the hood...sheesh!

It would seem the writer looked at the spec sheet and saw 427 but not being versed in the 'old'system, took it,at a glance, as 4.2l . Like having Jessica Simpson write an article on space shuttle design parameters. There's a reason why some people have others drive them around.

Saw this piece of news a few days ago on Bloomberg:

He certainly knows what he's talking about: NOT

Steel, Not Fiberglass
While Superformance isn’t the only company to build GT40 replicas, theirs are made of steel rather than cheap fiberglass.

How does a guy get a job as an automotive journalist for a respected media source (OK, yes, it's financial...) with this kind of (limited) automotive knowledge?

Maybe they should hire Jessica Simpson as well...and have her design Phase II of the financial bailout plan.

Just read that article to see what you fellows were talking about. You're spot on, the article is really poor and the writer needs to find a new line of work. Damn.
