There's an interesting thread in the All GT40 forum regarding a recent Pathfinder build. The GT40 in question is a highly-accurate clone of the famous Amon/McLaren Mk II (P/1046) that brought Ford its first victory at Le Mans in 1966.
Pathfinder/Holman Moody GT40P/2289, built on a Superformance chassis, features many historically accurate features, including an original T44 transmission and lots of Pathfinder touches. The car was built for a client in New Zealand and will be raced later this year by none other than Chris Amon himself!
