It is time for my SPF MK II to move on, we will have a new unit for next season to use as a demonstrator. This is a Lamborghini Titanium metallic with Diamond Black metallic body stripes and sill stripes. This is chassis GT40P2171.

Some of the features and options:

* Roush 427 SR Windsor stroker with optional "twisted wedge" cam profile, polished intake manifold and "FE" style cast valve covers with ignition wire looms. Dyno sheet available.

* Ceramic coated exhaust in silver

* RBT/ZF transaxle- New, not a rebuilt Pantera unit

* Drivers side Gurney bubble

* Halibrand "wine glass" type wheels in aluminum with steel knock-offs

* Numerous upgrades- Has the Time Machines A/C improvement seal set. Upgraded to later chassis type lower front door seals and steering shaft seal. Full air intrusion sealing for the cockpit to reduce hot air and improve A/C system effectiveness. "Lizardskin" sprayed on heat insulation on the underside of the rear deck to reduce heat transfer to the exterior paint. Time Machines glass bulkhead window replaces the plexi factory unit that was used.

* Rear deck gas struts from Olthoff Racing

* New brake master cylinders with braided steel feed lines from the reservoirs

* LED license plate lights

* Yokohama Avid tires

This is a well sorted and very driveable car. Recently did a 300 plus mile round trip to Watkins Glen where we gave demo rides to customers. Currently has 5100 miles but will continue to be used on a limited basis until sold.

Current replacement price for this chassis would be $114,750. Add 20K for the engine, 13.5K for the transaxle and $9000-10,000 for build out and misc. parts and you have a replacement cost of $157,000 plus.

Titled in Florida as a "1966 Superformance"

Very good condition, some scratches under the lower nose from dips. If that is an issue we can repair.

This is fast.....way beyond my skill set! It is a ball to drive and rides much better than people expect, while firm it does not beat you up and a long drive can be done. I have several customer who can confirm the real world usability of the GT40 if you want a third party opinion.

Offered at $137,500. We have financing available and delivery can be arranged.

Call 716.407.0975 or email rick(AT)timemachinesauto.com

Let's talk. If you want additional information or specific photos let me know.

Non-obnoxious bump.

Would like to see this go before the snow flies here.....perhaps to someplace where you can enjoy a 40 in January!

Just curious Rick......which does SPF sell more of, the MK 1 or MK II? Is there a ratio of say..... 2:1 for the sales with the MK 1 over the MK II's?

Well the first units available were MK IIs so they were 100% for a while. Now we see about 2.5 MK I to MK II. I have five units sold on order right now, 4 MK Is and one MK II (which is getting an "FE").

Wait till you see one of the MK Is......the buyer will be revealing details and pictures here soon.....it is OUTSTANDING!!!

And I have an open slot for early 2015 build that is available. No 12 month wait if you act fast!

Thanks Rick. I recall the Mk II was the "original" SPF before the MK I came along but find your info enlightening given the MK 1 seems to be preferred by many. Personally, I wish I could afford one of each! Can't wait to see the "special" car you've sold. Given some of the stunners on this site you've got me intrigued.

New guy bill looking did you see this one?

He emailed me for info, but no reply so far. I will deliver it to the door in Cali.

2171 checks all the boxes, Roush 351/427 stroker, Titanium with black, lots of upgrades and the only track time is parade laps at the Glen.

Still available and now priced at $129,900 which is WAY less than replacement cost. Just installed a new Powermaster starter for an indoor car show we did.

Hi Rick,

I don't know if it's the same in the US but in France Colors can make the difference when selling a car: It took for me 6 months to sell an ERA Cobra replica which was Grey with twin black stripes whereas a friend of mine sold the same car (model/engine/gear box) which was Blue in 2 weeks !!!

The price of your car is very correct you should sell it quickly even if we're going to the bad season for that type of car...

Still here and as the mud and snow season closes in on us (although 72 degrees and sunny today....I will go for a drive later) it is time for 2171 to find a new forever home.

$127,900.00 with all of the upgrades we have done.

If you want an SPF GT40 and don't want to spend 165K plus this the opportunity!
