Air Conditioner evaporator

Anyone deal with a leaking evaporator coil?

I had to replace mine with one from Olthoff.
I haven't yet disassembled it to see where it was leaking....

Hi Dave, I have hung on to it for now thinking should I ever wanted to sell the car down the road, the new owner might want to put back on. Is it really that hot at sea level? It easily reaches into the 90s up here in the high desert. It's warm inside but once moving with the helicopter vents opened, it's not that bad. Maybe it's the humidity down there that makes it unbearable. Hope you get yours figured out before summer gets here!

I own a refrigeration co. We feal with and fix evaporators all the time. Is yours aluminum or copper? tod
