Well spotted Rick. Being flat and with locating tabs at the front shows the demister grille to be from the early Mk III Zephyr, which is period correct. The later Mk IIIs had a grille with a curved up leading edge (actually easier to fit 'cos it simply screws down). For our Aussie friends, the 65-66 Falcon (XP?) came out with an almost identical demister grille, albeit about 30mm narrower from side to side. Note also the original pattern rear upright in the background. Looks like they are doing a great job. |
