Factory Five has recently joined GT40s.com as a sponsor. I'm sure a lot of you know they offer Cobra cars, as well as the GTM Supercar, and the FFR Spec racers. Have a look at their site by clicking on one of their two banners shown at the tops of pages.

Excellent news, Ron! I have a Factory Five Coupe I built and love it:

I also built a Factory Five car before tackling a GT40. I also came close to buying a GTM kit after Roaring Forties went bankrupt and kept my deposit. They make nice kits. Here is a picture of my FFCobra:

Welcome. Interesting how many progress from the FFR world into GT40s. I've built three FFR cars.

Yep....I'm in the club too.... Built a roadster, then a coupe. Actually what's really interesting is how many coupe owners. There seems to be a common element to our tasts in the admiration of the Daytona Coupe and GT 40. Would be intereting to learn if it is based on the history of each car, as they were both quite signifanct in their own rights. Or is it purely aesthetics.....

It's the holy trinity of the replicar world--a Cobra Roadster, a Daytona coupe, and a GT40.

With all 3, who wouldn't die happy?

My collection is similar in theme. Instead of the Cobra roadster, I'm having assembled a Lister-Corvette. Instead of the GT-40, I'm having assembled a Lola T70 Coupe. I think of the Lister-Corvette as a Cobra Roadster prototype. Caroll Shelby was a North American distributor for Lister before putting together the Cobra. The GT-40 project provided Eric Broadley the money and facilities to build the T70.

I have three also, an original 32 FORD roadster, CAV GT 40 with a Roush engine. and a FFR daytona coupe that I built and finished in may 2003. With a 427 windsor putting out 550 dyno proofed H.P. and 525 ft. lbs of torque.

Another happy FFR Cobra owner here. They offer great products and their customer service is excellent.

They also host a great open house in June. If you're in the area, it's well worth attending.
