A nice piece of kit Chas. Do I read that weight right... 94 good old imperial pounds? Very interested also in the price... please let us know when you have the "special price" for GT40 enthusiasts worked out!
Now on my I want one list.
Cheers
Mike

Oh. 8.2...as in 8.2" deck height, not 8.2 L.

And here I was thinking "Yes! I'm really starting to like Chas! They've already completed a 490+ cube alum. Man O'War small-block!"

Darn.

Stan,
Sorry, you can continue to hate me... :(
That can't happen in the SBF bore- center blocks but we got it to 460!
-And in the hope that you like me a little, we do have 10.4 Litre aluminum Merlins to 900 HP!

The height (length in inches) of the block face that mates with the head as measured perpendicular from the face (down the bore basically). A higher deck height often implies a longer piston stroke and therefore bigger displacement. I'm sure others here have a more scientific definition.
