Re: Original replacement parts. We finished the original spec Mk 1 rear axle drive bolts today. These were made from original blueprints in heat treated 4130 chrome moly. They come in a full set of 12 for $395 and are stronger than originals. These are better material and solid in the center instead of being hollow all the way thru to save a few more grams in weight. We made these solid to almost double the shear strength. We did drill in from both ends to make them look lightened. I also have the matching lightweight aircraft lock nuts if needed. The bolts are part number GT40P-7-5270.

Re: Original replacement parts. We finished a run of the original MK 1 bellhousing to transaxle bolts as used on the original cars with 4-bolt type 0 or type 1 ZFs. These are part number GT40P-7-5371. These cars use 2 of these and 2 special 7/16 studs which I will have done soon. These are made from original prints in heat treated 4130 chrome moly. They cost $45 a pair or $75 including the 2 studs. These do not fit cars with type-2 ZFs.

Re: Original replacement parts. Today I finished up the rear driveshaft backing plates part number GT40P-7-5267. They took a little longer than expected as we got a few interuptions. These are used on the back side of the metalastic rubber u-joints on original cars. The pic shows a set next to the original. We could have used a cad program to clean these up and make them perfect but decided to copy the originals just as they were made in the 60s. They sell for $95 a set.

Re: Original replacement parts. We just finished the front body pivots today. These were usualy painted the same color as the chassis. These are made as an ecentric to help line the body up and have a little adjustment left and right as well. These were made to original specs and will probably work on alot of repicars as well. They sell for $45 a pair.

| Re: Original replacement parts. Today we finished the bearing spacers that go on each side of the Schafer bearings on both the upper and lower front wishbones on both Mk1s and Mk11s. These are part number GT40P-4-4032. These were made from original blueprints but in 304 stainless steel so they will not rust or freeze up. Some cars including original that have have had a hard life have needed some of these machined a little thinner to compensate for previous problems. We have made a run .045 instead the the original .060 thickness called out in the prints. All GT40s require 16 per car and a set of 16 will sell for $125 and come all .060 thick and I will stock .045 for anybody who needs them and we can trade them out as needed. I also have original Schafer bearings in stock. I also added a pic of some original parts from a GT40 we had apart at one time.

Re: Original replacement parts. We are going to try to stock the very expensive original schafer bearings as used in the original MK1 and Mk11 GT40 wishbones. These are real thing and are very expensive and pretty tough to find. These are surplus aircraft parts and not commonly stocked anywhere these days. I can not post a current price as each set my be different depending on where they might be found. I just found enough for 2 full sets to put on the shelf for inventory. I will price these on request and try to keep a set available.

Re: Original replacement parts. Got the original spec outside door handle springs back from the cnc bender this week. These are used on original MK1 and Mk11s to hold the handle out while the door is opened. I will have the corect bolts and bushings in a kit for $40 per car set or the springs alone for $25 a pair. The part number for these is GT40P-1-2518. Again i posted a pic of the originals to compare.

Re: Original replacement parts. We have got most of the original style linkage done for the 289 Gt40 engine. This is completely different from the Gurney Weslake or 289 cobra style and is correct for original style Gt40s. We are waiting on the stands for the linkage and airbox sides. We have correct monoballs and heim joints as well as all original AN bolts and hardware. Complete kits are available as well as individual parts. Make sure your carbs are set up in the correct placement and not like a cobra before ordering any of this. As always this was all made to original specs and will fit all original cars as well as some replicars.

Re: Original replacement parts. We have finished the Mk1 rear upper wishbones part number GT40P-5-4515. These are made as original and lightened just as Ford did. These take the original monoballs and heim joints. We have those monoballs ad heim joints available as well. These are sold in pairs and the Mk11 versions are coming as well.

Re: Original replacement parts. We will keep complete Mk1 and Mk11 wheel bearing sets in stock. These are the very best Timken bearings and races and the exact same parts used in the original cars. The set shown is MK1 version and we also have all the other spacers and seals in stock for original cars and anybody else that uses the same stuff.

Re: Original replacement parts. Another small part to the puzzle is now available. After looking for an oem part from another automobile for months and never quite finding the exact item we needed, I decided to just go ahead and make the keyed washer for the front hubs. These are exact and heat treated like originals. These are strictly MK1 and are part number gt40p-4-4024 and sell in pairs. As usual I posted a pic with an original to compare.

Re: Original replacement parts. We now have all the correct linkage for the Gt40s with original Gurney Weslake heads. This is the complete kit and each part can be bought alone if needed. This come with all the correct carb arms which are unique to this motor along with the back up plates and bellcrank. All the An hardware is right along with the correct monoballs and heim joints. The aluminum part on the left keeps the fuel line away from the linkage and headers. The complete airbox will be done soon.

Re: Original replacement parts. We have had the GT40 alternator brackets done for awhile and just got around to getting all the pics on here. These are part numbers GT40P-3-3500 and GT40P-3-3503. These castings are exact and the straps were finnaly sorted from the original print which had a small error. These work with the correct 1960s style alternators as well as some modern replacements. I will sell these in a set or alone. These work on 289 style heads as well as original Gurney Weslake heads. We are working on the pulleys and should have them done very soon as well.

Re: Original replacement parts. We have been working on all the parts for the original pedal asy now for quite awhile. We now have a complete small parts kit available. We are working on pedal castings and fabricated pedals. These will accept all original parts including master cylinders as well as wilwood masters as shown. I will ofer the original e-brake parts later on. The castings and pedals are in the works and should be on the shelf this summer. These small parts kits include all the special bearings, all the AN hardware, sheetmetal parts, heim joints and tool steel machined parts. This kit gives you everything except casting, pedals, masters and e-brake parts. Each part is as original and will interchange with any original parts as well. Each item is also available alone or in small kits as well.

| Re: Original replacement parts. The completed pedal assembly up above is 1149s. It is very well done. We now have almost everything we need to put all the brakes into the car and begin measuring and templating for brakes and clutch lines. Thanks to Jay for his efforts on this.

These are made from the correct 1/2" thick black phenolic as original. These come in a full set of 8 and are part number GT40P-3-3523 |
