Here is an update on the installation of a 2011 Mustang Coyote V8 into the Tornado TSC GT40.
Engine mountings and chassis frame modifications are now completed. This has required a re configured rear bulkhead and widened engine bay.
The gearbox bellhousing to mate the Coyote to the UN1 has been developed and completed.
The fly by wire throttle system has been modified and is completed.
The exhaust system has been developed and completed which has 1 3/4" headers and silencers which include integral Catalytic converters.
The rear body section has required modified inner wheel arches for exhaust clearance due to the overall width of the cylinder heads.
A new water pipe cooling kit has been needed and has been developed.
An AC pump bracket has also been developed specifically for the Coyote.
A chassis with all of the required changes to install the Coyote is now available as are all of the unique parts that we have developed to install the engine making it a simple bolt in installation.
Thanks
