Best bit of Utube for some time. The guy in the white canam type car (could'nt make out what it was) did'nt seem to have much idea but the bloke in the red Healy was really flying, amazing turn of speed. Also surprised that what appeared to be a fairly old Porker held station with a 40, seemed to reel him in under braking and through some of the tighter turns. Do you have any views on that?

John, you have to remember that the GT40 driver ( Jorg) is a medical surgeon, not a race driver, and he was enjoying the fruits of three years build of his GT40. Having driven that car in that event the year before, I know that it is a tight little track with little time for big engined cars to stretch their legs anywhere, I thought he went very well indeed. AND some of those "old porkers" come from the Porsche Heritage collection. Frank
