Ford GT and GTD40 Comparison

Just thought I would share a picture of my GTD40 and a Ford GT, taken at Sherbourne Castle in Dorset last weekend.

The Ford GT looks so much bigger in this shot, don't you think?

I have had the opportunity to see an original and a new GT together and my first impression was the same. My girlfriends comment was "Thats a small car". That was a few years ago and we both definitely prefer the original bodywork.
What is your impression both driving and visual? I definitely prefer the original design, and I think that is what draws so many to the GT 40, just a timeless classic.

Somebody made the remark once that they put the GT40 on a photocopier and pressed the +10% button, I can see just what they mean!
