Would that have made a good poll Cliff?

Like, what is your porn preference?

40" at , er, chest level or 40" at waist level?

This adds to my list of two film/TV appearances I'm aware of; A Man and A Woman, also an episode of The Avengers. There are probably others.
Thanks Cliff.

I remember that Avengers episode. The GT40 had some kind of ray gun on it, but was not shown close up or clearly. Considering that was a 1960's episode was it an original?

Genuine,

It was the Ford press car painted with temporary silver paint.

I have an old Sports Car Graphic with the story of the GT40 that was loaned by Ford for an Autolite (one of Ford's subsidiaries) commercial filmed on Catalina Island. The car was painted with a water based paint often used in commercials to allow one car to be several different vehicles. The water base paint was blasted off the rockers during filming in the wet. The car was filmed in red but was actually white with blue stripe.

A friend of mine passed up buying the Lotus Elan used in the Avengers....probably because the leather jumpsuit didn't come with the car!!!!!

That's hilarious. I love looking at the past view of the future, especially tech stuff. That wasn't a manual choke in the startup sequence, was it? :)
