Champagné

Hi

Took the Gt40 to our Club meeting the other weekend near Le Mans at a place called Champagné. It was the place where Jean Rondeau (Le Mans 1980) had his factory, and he was also killed near here, trying to run a level crossing. They've named a gymnasium after him. Someone took these photos of my car which you may find interesting.

Unfortunately weather was pretty crap.

Stephen

Thanks for the info Stephen on Rondeau and the pics. Even though the P-car is much more modern doesn't the GT 40 still look great after all these years!

One thing I've noted after years of being a forum member and thats most (certainly not all) Americans rarely take their cars out in the rain. (sadly I'm one of them) I just wish I was more inclined to drive my 40 in whatever the weather delivers but my car is a bit of a garage queen.

That might be a great Poll Question: Have you ever knowingly driven your your pride and joy in bad weather.......
