Some family stuff prevented my watching the race live, but the cars look fantastic!

Three I believe and several Gelscoe's. The action and experience was nevertheless supreme! I learned a lot this weekend from my hosts. It was great watching everything being ran hard. The 917s were stunning!

Several of those cars sound like they are bouncing off the rev limiter. You know, the electronic, digital limiters used in the 60's.........

They are 50 year old race cars. How much would you expect to remain original? I personally would rather see them out on the track having a go at it than sitting on some stupid golf course grass being admired by wine sipping royalty.
