1030 in a Wind Tunnel.

GT40 1030 at Ford's (Sverdrup) wind tunnel in 2002. 1030 was on loan to Ford while they developed the Ford GT which came out in 2003.

The decals and stripe were added temporarily by Ford for some promo photos, but they didn't use the photos because they thought it distracted from the new car.

(I recently found the previously unviewed video tape. Coincidentally, I recently found out that my local library has a computer setup for copying video tapes.)

Very cool.
I anticipated that the flow would be what showed in the smoke for the most part. I was amazed how much of the smoke moved through the oil cooler ducts and how little went through the air intake ducts for the engine.
