Porsche 908

Hi All

As my GT40 comes to completion I am starting a Porsche 908 build.
I have the body purchased along with all the uprights which have been made by John Wisher and are fantastic.
At present the chassis is being put onto cad to be sent for the tubes to be laser cut in the next month or two.

Is the chassis a generic tube frame or a replica Martin ?

I won't ask for dimensions

When you say the tubing will be laser cut does that mean it's mitred as well ? That would save a huge amount of time and work...

Re: Porsche 908

Hi Sid

We have all the drawings for 906/8/10 chassis but the chassis we will make will be modified from original to incorporate a roll cage in the cabin area and tube sizes will be changed here and there to account for road use.
The tubes we hope will be mitred and laser numbered. Apparently the tubes will be cut to within 4 microns!

Regards Martin.
